Join the network

Two roles. One standard. Choose yours.

Both roles are full members of the same network — with the same voice, the same register entry, and the same certificate framework.

Become a Supporting Practice

Your practice can change what's possible for another. Build a long-term, one-to-one partnership with a dental practice that shares your profession — and needs a partner, not a donor.

What you give

  • Planned financial support, agreed in scope with your partner
  • Clinical and organizational know-how, mentoring time
  • Equipment and materials, where useful and wanted
  • Hospitality for observership visits

What you gain

  • A professional relationship that broadens your team's clinical horizon
  • DentShare certification — publicly verifiable recognition of real commitment
  • A meaningful story your team and your patients can stand behind
  • Access to the network's knowledge exchange and events

Your commitment — honestly stated

A partnership is not a one-click donation. We ask Supporting Practices for a multi-year commitment, a reliable contact person, and participation in one annual partnership review. If circumstances change, our coordinators help you adapt — or hand over — the partnership responsibly.

Apply as a Partner Practice

You bring the expertise. A partnership brings the resources. Join a long-term, one-to-one partnership — with a voice, a plan, and a partner who treats you as the professional you are.

What a partnership offers

  • Planned, reliable support instead of one-off aid
  • A professional peer for case discussions and mentoring
  • Equipment and materials coordinated around your actual needs
  • Observership visits — in both directions
  • Full membership: register entry, certification, and a voice in the network

What we ask of you

  • Define development goals together with your partner
  • Keep in regular contact with your partner practice
  • Document how support is used — briefly, but reliably
  • Take part in the annual partnership review

Fairness & selection

Demand may exceed available Supporting Practices. Applications are processed in order of completion and matched by compatibility — never by fundraising potential or by any political or religious criterion. If no match is available, you join a transparent waiting list and we keep you informed. Applying costs nothing.

A third way to get involved

Join the DentShare team.

Not a practice owner — but you want to help build the network behind the partnerships? During the founding phase we are looking for people who bring time, energy, and ideas to coordination, communication, events, and operations.

Voluntary Social Year (FSJ)

A full year with the founding team — in Germany, e.g. through a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) or a comparable voluntary service.

Internships

For students and career starters — dentistry, global health, communication, or nonprofit management.

Volunteering & pro bono

Contribute a few hours per month with your professional skills — from translation to IT, design, or accounting.

Why a partnership, not a donation?

Anonymous donations disappear. Partnerships stay.

Anonymous donations disappear into projects you never see. A DentShare partnership is different: you know your partner practice by name. You plan together, learn together, and see the results of your commitment develop over years — documented in the public register.

Founding phase: pilot partnerships forming now.

DentShare starts small and controlled: a pilot group of practices in both roles, matched manually and accompanied closely. Practices that join now shape the network — and receive the honorary Founding Partner predicate.
